Must efficiently setup and operate CNC and/or Wire EDM Machines to produce parts to customer blueprint specification while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Load fixturing and tooling into machines, and read basic programs as necessary.
Must maintain clean workspace, and prepare for future orders between cycles if able.
Responsible for submitting first pieces to Quality Control prior to production run. Needs to be able to make adjustments as necessary.
Having the ability to setup 4th or 5th axis machines is a bonus.
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests: exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualification/Requirements:
Thorough Understanding and Ability to Read / Interpret Blueprints
Practical Knowledge of Math, Geometry Required
